Manufacture of the EV (Tesla)

  • If ever there was a headline-grabbing electric car, the Tesla Model 3 was it. Launching internationally in July 2017 the Model 3 promised electric car mobility for the masses, with the most aggressive pricing yet for any Tesla vehicle.

Its biggest talking points have always been its battery driving range, straight line performance and high-tech, minimalist cabin design – but the Model 3 also offers surprising practicality due to its smart design.

  • Not interested in making another minivan or standard SUV Tesla decided to make a splash with its second even mainstream model – and so the Model X was born.

With eye-catching gullwing rear doors and unconventionally sleek styling from nose to tail, this isn’t the sort of SUV that appeals to those who want a rugged off-roader. It’s a high-tech, eyes-on-me city SUV, with amazing electric driving range and enormous performance to boot.

  • The Tesla Model S is arguably the most important and influential new vehicle to be launched globally during the 2010s.

A four-door coupe EV, it put Tesla on the map with a prodigious performance from its electric motors and high-tech yet simple cabin, as well as a range that can top 550km on a single charge. Cabin quality isn’t a strong point, but the Model S does many things right.
