    2017 Kia Soul EV owner here! Any chance that older Evs could be converted in the future for longer battery mileage? Maybe they could add a 4th battery cell or replace the 3 battery cells. Any thoughts?

    I know that they did such battery replacements for the Nissan Leaf. It was fitted by third party suppliers and not Nissan itself.

    The batteries of all capacities are not near the same shape or size. The electrical connections would need a conversion device with some electronics and different connectors. I’m not sure if there is a suitable battery for the Soul EV. If the never Soul EV has a different shaped battery, then its impossible.
