I am a Lead owner and had a problem with my parking brake. I went to a few garages to find out if they could have look. A lot of them said they don’t work on EV brakes because of the regenerative braking system. They didn’t care when I told them that the parking brake has nothing to do with the regenerative breaking and that it has its own separate drum brakes. Anyone had the same experience with taking EVs to garages?

I would guess that some garages may be concerned about not having anyone who is qualified to work on high voltage cars or may not be informed enough.
