I currently own a diesel car and been barely using it since the pandemic started. The worst part is that we use it for a 15+ minute drive every 2 weeks just to keep it going. If we had an EV, what is the suggested usage, and should we use it more often then? Any knowledge on this topic?

I would say as long as you keep the HV battery between 20- 80% and check that the 12v doesn’t drop to a low, you should be fine.

Any car is too expensive to let it sit around unused. I try to keep my car sitting in idle for a bit at 50% soc.

Hello.. I would say you should use it weekly to keep the battery cells in good condition but don’t worry thereafter.
