Hi All. I’m looking to buy a Kona. I’ve noticed that the dealer had the vehicle since for quite a few months now. Its presumably also not driven very much at all. This makes me wonder how long the battery will hold up. There is no way of seeing the SOH as a % on the Kona. Any advice would be appreciated.

If it’s been sitting at high SoC that would not be good. If it’s been sitting between 60 – 70% I don’t see any problem. It would be best to ask the dealer for a health report on the battery.

My only concern would be the tires as they could go square at the bottom. Also check brakes and discs and the state of the 12v battery.

It might just have a slightly low 12v but otherwise it would be fine.
