Today I popped a thought while waiting for my BMW i3 to be charged. Instead of wasting time and waiting around, why don’t they think of designing EV that are able to charge themselves. Any thoughts on self-charging hybrids?

I also had some thoughts about that. It will be an amazing invention. I saw an article that if they would invent self-charging hybrids, they will need to use regenerative braking tech to support the petrol engine. This will only work on small EV’s.
