Does anyone know how common written off EVs are or how to source ‘’reclaimed’’ batteries? Just wondering how much they cost to source.

I saw that Nissan has its own replacement programme which requires you to trade-in your own old battery. I think they have plans of their own to recycle or repurpose the batteries.

Just keep in mind that anyone who puts an automotive traction battery into use is responsible for what happens to it at the end of life. This is a law.
