    In today’s world most cars are going electric. Does anyone know what happened to old EV batteries? Curious to know.

    I did some research and I found that they shred the old batteries. After shredding they break them down further with heat or chemicals at dedicated facilities. Hopefully that is done without doing damage to the environment!

    I agree @Ben. EVs are all about the environment so hopefully they look after it even after battery usage.
