It has been stated that one way on storing energy for the UK e network is to us EVs are battery storage. To charge them off-peak and feeding into the grid at peak times. Wouldn’t this constant recycling reduce the life of the car’s battery? Would love to hear some thoughts on this.

It would reduce the life of the car battery. So, if you’ve paid £40k for your 60kWh BEV and you are storing £6 of electricity, then it has cost you £20 for the privilege. It doesn’t make sense at all.
