This is probably a weird question but do e cars still run on 12v battery like ICE cars? What would happen if I left a dashcam running on a e car for a few days?

Most of these cars have a 12V battery to run all the usual 12V components like lights, wipers, entertainment system etc. Note that the 12V battery is not usually connected to the main battery system when the car is not in use so you can flatten it, just like you can with a fossil fuel vehicle. It also would depend on how much power the dash cam draws.

Bear in mind that the 12V battery in an EV is typically very smaller in capacity since it doesn’t have to provide enough power to start up a cold engine. It only has to run electronics. Just like an ICE, and EV won’t start without the 12v battery providing sufficient voltage.
